Dancers | Studies in Movement & Form
These drawings explore the body in motion — capturing dancers at the threshold of control and freedom. Rooted in a lifelong practice of figure study, this series engages the tension between strength and vulnerability, discipline and release. Each drawing seeks to hold a moment of energy, presence, and emotional resonance.
Movement reveals the rhythm of the body — its resilience, its vulnerability, its capacity for expression beyond words. In studying dancers, I am drawn to how form endures and dissolves, shaping movement into something elemental and alive. The drawings are gestural and unguarded, seeking not perfection but presence — a balance between precision and release.

All figure drawings are original works, created by hand.
